This study explores the role of stakeholder engagement in enhancing supply chain sustainability within renewable energy sector. Through a qualitative research approach, including in-depth interviews with key stakeholders such as government agencies, industry associations, companies, community groups, and environmental organizations, reveals complexity significance effective engagement. Stakeholders highlighted diverse motivations, environmental, social, economic, regulatory concerns, driving their participation. The underscores importance tailored strategies that recognize heterogeneity address specific needs expectations. Collaborative approaches, public-private partnerships multi-stakeholder initiatives, were identified crucial for pooling resources, sharing knowledge, addressing common challenges. However, challenges related to power imbalances, conflicting interests, communication barriers also noted. Government policies frameworks found play pivotal shaping practices outcomes. Regulatory uncertainty inconsistency cited significant concerns could undermine initiatives. Community emerged critical factor, local communities often directly impacted by projects. Meaningful engagement, consultation benefit-sharing mechanisms, is essential building trust securing social acceptance.
