L-ascorbic acid represents one of the most potent antioxidant, photoprotective, anti-aging and anti-pigmentary cosmeceutical agents, with a good safety profile. However, challenge remained to design stable topical formulation, such permeability as active that optimal effects on skin could be achieved. The aim our research was evaluate difference between penetration ability ascorbyl palmitate incorporated in same percentage (2%) within creams emulgels carriers, well determine impact its incorporation into liposome kinetics penetration. Tape stripping applied for studying stratum corneum. In addition, sensory textural properties examined formulations were determined. both cases (liposomal non-liposomal formulations), exhibited better profile substance compared use emulgel. Encapsulation liposomes led an increase adhesiveness density prepared cream emulgel samples. best spreadability absorption during application detected liposomal obtained results confirmed improved dermal palmitate, either or bases employed, which further indicates advantages encapsulation.
