Dysbiosis, as reflected by the altered composition of microbiome favoring pathogenic species, is a major contributor to colorectal cancer (CRC) development, which could lead bacterial translocation into bloodstream. This study aimed evaluate presence circulated DNA (cbDNA) in CRC patients, with or without surgical removal primary tumor. In total, 100 participants enrolled this prospective clinicolaboratory study, equally divided four groups; healthy controls (Group 1), patients non-metastatic tumor 2), metastatic surgically excised 3) non-excised 4) extracted from peripheral blood was analyzed using PCR specific primers targeting 16S rRNA, Escherichia coli (E. coli), and Fusobacterium nucleatum (F. nucleatum). Only detection F. significantly higher Group 4 compared 1 (p < 0.001), 2 = 0.023) 3 0.023). The association cbDNA other clinical parameters co-morbidities also evaluated. These results highlighted importance role an intratumoral oncomicrobe associated CRC.
