: The activated carbons (ACs) derived from okara powder waste with high surface areas were modified ammonia aqueous solution impregnation in an autoclave to enhance their CO2 adsorption properties toward CO2. impregnated ACs characterized which chemical composition and of the analyzed by SEM-EDX, FTIR. Activated functionalized (25%) through a hydrothermal process within 24; 48, 72 hours. performance onto carbon samples was experimentally evaluated TPD measurement. FTIR spectra confirm N-containing N-modified presence –C = O stretch N-H groups. uptakes are 0.24; 1.78; 2.24 1.26 mmol/g, relatively comparable those studied literature.
