Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has emerged as a promising adjunctive treatment for glioblastoma (GBM), yet comprehensive bibliometric analysis of this field is lacking. This study explores research trends, major contributors, and hotspots in PDT GBM to provide an integrated overview its development. Literature from 1993 2024 was retrieved the Web Science Core Collection. Bibliometric tools, including CiteSpace, analyzed publication collaborations, keyword co-occurrence identify influential authors, institutions, journals. A total 799 publications showed growing interest, peaking 2022. The United States China were leading with prominent institutions like University California System Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. Influential figures, such Jiro Akimoto Walter Stummer, advanced clinical applications fluorescence-guided techniques. Early studies photodynamic have focused on evaluating efficacy potential side effects, transitioning towards innovative strategies targeted drug delivery, nanotechnology, combination therapies. However, similarities between early recent are search safe reliable photosensitizers. Keyword highlighted "5-aminolevulinic acid", "in vitro", "polyethylene glycol compounds" key areas, while timeline revealed shifts foundational photosensitizer approaches addressing tumor heterogeneity resistance. provides systematic GBM, spotlighting breakthroughs collaborative networks. findings emphasize importance preclinical innovation translation fully realize PDT's therapy.

Recent years have seen the use of photodynamic technologies concerning detection and therapy bladder cancer (BC) due to their rapid development well-established therapeutic impact. However, a thorough analysis bibliometric assessment publishing trends in BC has not been completed yet. Retrieving bibliographies from Web Science Core Collection limited publication date December 31, 2023, January 1, 2004. We used VOSviewer (Version 1.6.19) CiteSpace 6.4 R1) for both statistical visualization analysis. selected total 870 documents The yearly findings show notable upward patterns over last two decades. Kochi Medical School Japan was most productive school, while USA nation. Japanese researcher Inoue Keiji published highest number -related articles BC. quoted prolific journals were Photodynamic Therapy Photodiagnosis. According keyword analysis, terms "cystoscopy," "carcinoma situ," "drug delivery," "follow-up," "hexaminolevulinate," "impact" are all relatively recent hot field. Our investigation produced outcome field, potentially opening up new research opportunities. suggest that future concentrate on in-situ carcinoma identification, photosensitizer invention, medication delivery enhancement, technology follow-up
