Background: Extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants, with weights less than 1000 g, often experience challenges in postnatal growth. This study aimed to assess the growth patterns of ELBW infants over a 3-year period, focusing on statural catch-up Methods: Anthropometric measures (z-scores) were obtained at birth, 2, 4, 6, 12, 18, 24, and 36 months for 87 born between September 2016 2018. Their data was compared WHO standards without adjusting gestational age. All preterm received formula an average 4-6 months. Results: showed significant weight-for-age (WAZ) length-for-age (LAZ) during first two years life, while weight-for-length (WLZ) initial increase followed by mild decline. By age 3, substantial proportion achieved normal parameters. Specifically, 78% had WAZ, 90% LAZ, 87% WLZ, 91.5% head circumference z-scores (HCZ). Overweight observed 7.4% 3. Conclusion: fed demonstrated 12-18 continued LAZ third year. A high percentage these parameters emphasizing effectiveness early interventions improving infants.
