Aim. The permanent growth of interest in rowan and other currently underestimated Sorbus sensu lato crops has prompted the search to improve accelerated propagation technique its most valuable genotypes for breeding. Methods. experiments involved 3–7-year-old plants from National Dendrological Park "Sofiyivka" Academy Sciences Ukraine collection. Statistical analysis experimental data was performed according Ronald Fisher. Results. It found that germination rate studied sorboid depended on method seed preparation. In contrast, grafting efficiency more than graft genotype. use our modified MS media allowed us obtain clone formation coefficients (6.6–7.9) sufficient effective micropropagation induce morphogenesis with 59.9–88.8 % rooted microclones, as well achieve stable results adaptation non-sterile ex vitro conditions both peat disks (69.1–90.3 %) containers soil substrates (70.4–93.0 %). Conclusions. comparing methods source material breeding obtained long-term showed advantages prospects introducing link into practice nursery horticulture lato.
