Sustainable water resource management in Bangladesh's Gumti River Basin faces challenges from climate change, urbanization, and population growth. This study aimed to calibrate validate the HEC-HMS model for enhance flood prediction planning. The was set up using precipitation, temperature, discharge data 2019-2021, with SRTM elevation catchment delineation. Manual calibration performed 2019-2020, followed by validation 2021, parameters such as Muskingum routing SCS Curve Number. Model performance evaluated R², Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE), RSR, PBIAS metrics. Results showed satisfactory good performance, R² values of 0.64 0.68 validation, respectively. NSE were within range, while indicated very slight underestimation. concludes that calibrated provides a reliable tool simulating River's hydrology, though there's room improvement. Integration frequency analysis, quality monitoring, change projections is recommended comprehensive management, alongside implementation Water Resource Management principles community engagement strategies.
