Background/Objectives: Malva sylvestris L. is rich in mucilage and traditionally used for the management of numerous ailments including gastrointestinal disorders. Functional constipation (FC) a condition characterized by defecation anomalies such as infrequent stools, difficulty stool passage, or both absence pathological abnormalities. FC can be reduced through lifestyle factors dietary intervention. This consumer-based survey aimed to assess efficacy M. extract-based food supplement on improvement FC. Methods: Healthy participants (n = 56), enrolled survey, took containing chemically extract at dose 20 mL/day (containing 750 mg fiber polyphenols) days advice their pharmacist. The study evaluated bowel movement frequency (intestinal diary), consistency (Bristol Stool Form Scale, BSFS), abdominal pain (Visual Analogue VAS), baseline (T0), after 10 (T1), (T2). Results: A significant increase (p < 0.001) with decrease was observed. Additionally, this well-tolerated no adverse effects were reported subjects. Conclusion: sylvestris-based showed promising effectiveness satisfaction improving healthy subjects, however, randomized clinical studies are needed confirm these preliminary results.
