Abstract
The
consequences
of
Industry
4.0
have
adverse
side
effects
on
cybercrime
growth,
which
requires
creating
an
effective
cybersecurity
system
for
companies.
Therefore,
this
study
aims
to
develop
a
composite
indicator
company
assess
its
development
needs.
For
purpose,
the
authors
modified
Porter’s
method
by
constructing
superposition
matrix
based
growth
rates
cyber
threats
and
risks,
calculating
their
quantitative
characteristics
indicator.

ABSTRACT
The
study
analyses
factors
influencing
digital
transformation
in
South
Africa's
national
social
security
organisations.
Data
were
collected
through
semi‐structured
interviews
with
20
purposefully
selected
respondents
and
analysed
using
thematic
analysis.
found
seven
organisations:
Legal
authority,
Policy
autonomy,
Human
resources,
Finance,
data
collection
use,
infrastructure
applications
skills
collaborative
work.
study's
findings
showed
that
digitalisation
per
se
does
not
lead
to
a
better
balance
between
policy
alignment
organisational
autonomy.
On
the
contrary,
unprecedented
access
ubiquitous
massive
processing
capacity
can
heighten
tendencies
of
rigid
systems
for
greater
hierarchical
control
future
where
decision‐making
is
further
centralised,
are
inaccessible,
staff
disempowered
innovation
stifled.
However,
also
highlights
potential
solution—the
need
leaders
transition
into
workspace
enablers
who
enhance
agencies'
operational
capabilities.
This
shift
leadership
style
inspire
empower
staff,
thereby
mitigating
negative
effects
digitalisation.
