<em>The education industry is one of the sectors heavily affected by COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to advancement educational technologies and global collaborations, teachers managed shift distance teaching mitigate effect worldwide school closures. This sudden revealed glory Digital Age need upskill learners compete in future job market. paper discusses emerging skills needed for investigates perceptions EFL/ESL about their current environment status post-COVID-19 pandemic along with student’s digital skills. study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach. The research instrument used survey collect perspectives non-native instructors working developing countries was form close-ended questionnaire including four sections. findings reveal that jobs are based on high cognitive be implemented today’s learners. High awareness importance continuous professional development further up skilling learners, practitioners, workspaces were also reported. Further studies broader samples recommended.</em>
