Effective partnership of education and business is a catalyst for innovation transfer, startup ecosystem development sustainable economic growth. The research aims to identify the impact university-industry R&D collaboration on startups performance, taking into account existing knots gap intervals. study sample was formed 100 world countries, represented in Global Startup Ecosystem Index rating. base includes data University-industry indicator within Innovation 2023 by WIPO StartupBlink. As an upper-middle-income country, Armenia should develop and implement targeted policies, such as increased R&D investments, education reforms, industry-academia collaboration, to enhance its innovation performance. Strengthening these areas is expected contribute higher Global Innovation Index (GII) rankings, reflecting improved national capacity.This study aims estimate the impact of various GII components (including pillars, sub-indices, sub-pillars) on overall pillar scores for countries.
