Background: Vaccinations are arguably the most effective tool for preventing infectious diseases and reducing mortality. Pakistan reports some of highest numbers in world unvaccinated children. The low vaccine uptake is attributable to numerous factors, such as illiteracy, hesitancy, lack resources. Given these challenges, policymaking crucial improving childhood This study aims review data on interventions South Asia provide insight into their effectiveness impactfulness guiding future endeavors country. They quality risk bias, finally added review. Statistical analysis was performed available data, odds ratio % increase outcome calculated interventions, forest plot plotted where possible. P-values check significance, heterogeneity chi-square, tau, I² tests. Results: search yielded a total 434 results, after screening check, 14 remaining studies included Interventions classified either educational, delivery based, incentive reminder based interventions. 8 reported educational DPT-3 (Andersson, 2009) result Focused Group Discussion Intervention (OD 95% CI = 3.46 [2.62, 4.58] p<0.0001) BCG (Anjum, 2004) with House-to-House health messages 3.10 [1.55, 6.19, p<0.001), more than three times vaccination compared no intervention (Control). There 4 Delivery-based group two each groups. Upon comparison, multifaceted targeted show greatest increasing coverage. Conclusions: current systematic includes first quantitative specific South-Asian population. significance targeting literacy evident from results should be considered during state-level decision-making.
