Urban wastewater management in rapidly growing cities presents a significant challenge. Traditional centralized systems are unable to keep pace with increasing urbanization and generation. This manuscript case study conducted Yangon, aimed at investigating the feasibility potential benefits of approaching decentralized treatment system (DEWATS) as an alternative solution. DEWATS (CWTS) cases were observed for performance, operational efficiency, environmental benefits. Field studies, interviews municipal personnel, discussions residents also conducted. Residents using Yangon value its advantages willing invest sustainability. Those who use concerned about high costs unreliability. Results from sustainability assessments showed that obtained higher total scores than CWTS. Based on Weighted Sum Methods three scenarios, ranked first has been shown be sustainable solution across environmental, social, economic, technical aspects. provides strategy urban planners decision-makers option management. The evidence could support accelerating provision plants encourage willingness pay.

Existing probabilistic hesitant fuzzy set (PHFS) measures are constructed using two information measures: hesitancy and unwrapped probabilities. We argue that unifying these semantic terms in PHFS theory is not logical. introduce a new class of for PHFSs, which address the logical wrapping sets (HFS) probability. propose several similarity use Triangular norm operator. consider relationship between entropy represent axiomatic definition measures. Finally, we case studies to demonstrate applications describe multiple-criteria decision-making algorithms. Thus, used article model spaces (IES) (4 10 mm) and treatment time (TT) (5 – 55 min) electrocoagulation (EC) cells remove phosphate from water. The results showed best was 92.5% at I-ES 4 mm TT 50 min. High agreement noticed between experimental predicted removals (R 2 = 0.984).

Current energy demand for wastewater treatment is very high and expected to increase in the next decade. As climate change poses a challenge too, renewable options this industry are needed. Studies hydropower assessment addressed governance stakeholders have shown that some mechanical might be recovered from wastewater. However, none of them applied sustainability approach. Neither decision-making level was considered. The objective work present methodology, developed case study, with novel approach, including all these considerations. After analyzing context region proposed methodology includes three dimensions sustainability: economic, environmental, social. Firstly, group 186 plants, selected according their management model. Based on technical feasibility, 34 potential sites were identified. Secondly, obtain perspective, survey suitable criteria conducted. Then, multi-criteria method, aligned existing guidelines, applied. results show that, framework, an interesting option consider decarbonization systems. could directly design methodologies adapted context.
