Oral drug administration remains one of the most convenient routes due to its Simplicity, high patient compliance, and cost-effectiveness. However, many medicinal products available on market exhibit poor water solubility, which adversely affects dissolution rate drugs in biological fluids. Drug loading is a promising strategy produce highly stable amorphous with improved rates, bioavailability. Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) are particularly advantageous their tunable surface area, pore size, volume, making them suitable load various molecules such as drugs, genes, proteins. The use mathematical models crucial for predicting analyzing release profile active diffusion patterns within delivery systems. This enables design development new systems more desirable patterns. review provides an overview MSNs methods, discusses mechanisms kinetic using mesoporous carriers, highlights critical considerations designing MSNs, particle stability cytotoxicity.

This study focuses on the synthesis and characterization of mesoporous MCM-41, a highly effective material for removing Methylene Blue dye from water. The was synthesized using an eco-friendly rice bran oil template by sol-gel approach tetraethyl orthosilicate. characterized various spectroscopic techniques, such as DRS-UV, FTIR, PXRD, BET, SEM, EDX, HR-TEM, TG-DTA analysis. analyses are revealing structure with impressive properties high absorbance, hexagonal structure, surface area 385.28 m2/g, pore volume 0.5875 cm³/g, diameter 6.1 nm good thermal stability. Adsorption studies evaluated effects concentration, adsorbent dosage, adsorption kinetics, demonstrating that MCM-41 follows monolayer mechanism pseudo-second-order kinetics. maximum removal efficiencies were found to 88% 0.05 g MCM-41.
