Amidst global climate change and natural resource degradation challenges, adopting energy-efficient home appliances is becoming increasingly crucial, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Java Island the country’s economic industrial center with highest domestic energy consumption. This study aims to analyze influence of knowledge about eco-labels environmental consciousness, mediated by self-efficacy, on willingness consumers adopt household appliances. utilizes Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) theoretical framework. Data were collected from 210 respondents through a survey disseminated social media, analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS) method within Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Results show that eco-label consciousness significantly contribute purchase appliances, self-efficacy as an essential mediator. The findings present new insights into sustainable consumer behavior provide practical recommendations for policymakers practitioners formulating effective promotional strategies increase adoption As such, this extends green literature exploring mediating role country context.
