The Philodendron billietiae is a popular ornamental plant, with mutated varieties in high demand and commanding premium prices. This research aims to identify the optimal medium for propagating use gamma radiation induce mutations. Shoot tips of were cultured on Murashige Skoog (MS) supplemented various concentrations 6-benzyladenine (BA), both alone combination naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), shoot formation. Different NAA then tested root induction. Additionally, mutation induction was investigated using from cesium-137 as primary radioactive source, doses 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 Gray. MS 1.5 mg L−1 BA achieved highest induction, resulting more shoots leaves per shoot. 0.5 NAA. In experiment, increasing resulted decreased survival rates, fewer new shoots, reduced leaf width length. Gamma at between 20 40 Gray induced morphological changes billietiae. These findings provide valuable guidelines genetic improvement enhance its commercial value.
