Abstract Background Despite an abundance of digital health interventions (DHIs) targeting the prevention and management noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), it is unclear what specific components make a DHI effective. Purpose This narrative umbrella review aimed to identify most effective behavior change techniques (BCTs) in DHIs that address or NCDs. Methods Five electronic databases were searched for articles published English between January 2007 December 2022. Studies included if they systematic reviews meta-analyses modification one more NCD-related risk factors adults. BCTs coded using Behavior Change Technique Taxonomy v1. Study quality was assessed AMSTAR 2. Results Eighty-five articles, spanning 12 domains comprising over 865,000 individual participants, review. Technological advancements have opened the path for many technology providers to easily develop and introduce eHealth tools public. The use of these is increasingly recognized as a critical quality driver in health care; however, choosing tool from myriad available specific need does not come without challenges.This review aimed systematically investigate literature understand different approaches criteria used assess impact by considering sociotechnical factors (from technical, social, organizational perspectives).A structured search was completed following participants, intervention, comparators, outcomes framework. Abstract Digital twins represent a promising technology within the domain of precision healthcare, offering significant prospects for individualized medical interventions. Existing systematic reviews, however, mainly focus on technological dimensions digital twins, with limited exploration their impact health-related outcomes. Therefore, this review aims to explore efficacy in improving healthcare at population level. The literature search study encompassed PubMed, Embase, Web Science, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, SinoMed, CNKI, and Wanfang Database retrieve potentially relevant records. Patient outcomes were synthesized employing quantitative content analysis, whereas Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) scales used evaluate quality potential bias inherent each selected study. Following established inclusion exclusion criteria, 12 studies screened from an initial 1321 records further analysis. Nearly all approaches to personalized nutrition (PN) use information such as the gene variants of individuals deliver advice that is more beneficial than a generic "1-size-fits-all" recommendation. Despite great enthusiasm and increased availability commercial services, thus far, scientific studies have only revealed small negligible effects on efficacy effectiveness dietary recommendations, even when using genetic or other individual information. In addition, from public health perspective, scholars are critical PN because it primarily targets socially privileged groups rather general population, thereby potentially widening inequality. Therefore, in this we propose extend current by creating adaptive systems (APNASs) tailored type timing for needs, capacities, receptivity real-life food environments. These encompass broadening goals (i.e., what should be achieved) incorporate "individual goal preferences" beyond currently advocated biomedical (e.g., making sustainable choices). Moreover, they cover "personalization processes behavior change" providing situ, "just-in-time" environments (how change), which accounts capacities constraints economic resources). Background Mobile health (mHealth) apps offer unique opportunities to support self-care and behavior change, but poor user engagement limits their effectiveness.
