Misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines has hampered their uptake worldwide. In Ghana, a belief that affect fertility is prevalent and difficult to counter. UNICEF Ghana co-produced context-driven, behavioral science-based audio drama ('A shot of love') aimed debunk this misinformation narrative. randomized controlled trial, 13,000 young adults who had previously interacted with UNICEF's Agoo platform were either control (audio nutrition) or intervention debunking the misinformation). We found strong protective effect against in misinformation, both directly after listening (adjusted Odds Ratio (aOR) 0.45, 95% Confidence Interval (CI) 0.34–0.59) as well at one-month follow-up (aOR 0.66, CI 0.49–0.91). Similarly, on perceived safety 1.56, 1.22-2.00) 1.53, 1.13–2.07). Overall, our science-based, context-driven was effective reducing strength vaccine increasing Ghana.

Abstract Background A global surplus of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines exists as a result difficulties in aligning the demand and supply for vaccine manufacturing delivery. World leaders have accelerated development, approval, production distribution pragmatic approach to addressing immediate public health challenges first two half years pandemic. Main body The currently predominant, highly transmissible Omicron variant severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 has brought us closer threshold required achieve herd immunity by greatly increasing rates natural infection. Paradoxically, parallel with rising vaccination levels industrialized nations, this indirectly reduces need mass campaigns. Principal concerns that contribute low which persist several other countries, particularly Global South, are hesitancy unequal access vaccination. Social uncertainty fueled fake news, misinformation, unfounded lay opinions conspiracy theories inevitably led an erosion trust Conclusion To address current mismatch between COVID-19 vaccines, there should be focus on three principles: decelerating production, across communities, optimizing cost-effectiveness logistics. Slowing down switching from large-scale effectively ‘made order’ is feasible option, commensurate management capacity. Transparent evidence-based data widely freely disseminated through multimedia channels mitigate miscommunication theories. Use soon-to-expire stockpiles prioritized not only enhance booster dose rollouts adults but expand immunization campaigns children (especially those aged 5–11 years), subject national approval. Future research ideally aim develop require basic, affordable storage maintenance procedures opposed sophisticated expensive protocols. Graphical

ABSTRACT Background The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) outbreak raised many concerns along with physical and mental health complications, including adjustment disorder (AD). Given the utmost importance of this issue for vulnerable groups, present study was to investigate COVID‐19‐induced AD among Iranian patients living multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2020. Methods Adopting a cross‐sectional research design, performed on statistical population MS patients. Sampling further done online via Porsline, as survey tool, Iran. In total, 247 were examined period 2 months, recruiting sociodemographic‐medical information form Adjustment Disorder New Module (ADNM). As final point, data analyzed using SPSS Statistics software (ver. 26). This mixed-method research was conducted to examine nursing-midwifery students' decision regret and their intention get vaccinated in the next pandemic. The includes quantitative qualitative processes. In first phase, (cross-sectional) study conducted, collecting data from 602 participants who met inclusion criteria. second semi-structured interviews were with 16 participants. Data collected using Decision Scale interview form. analyzed Student's t-test, one-way anova test, inductive content analysis, reported Good Reporting of Mixed Methods Study. study, it determined 96.3% had received 50.0% regretted getting vaccinated. As result analysis data, following themes emerged could reveal reasons for regret; forced compliance, strange pandemic, unknown effects, hesitancy. Students' experiences pandemic have potential increase negative attitudes towards vaccines.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic revealed vaccine supply chain (VSC) weaknesses and enabled post-pandemic analysis highlighting the growing importance of resilience. This study analyzes potentials for VSC resilience from an industry perspective. Insights this are aimed at supporting helping managers policy-makers build a more resilient supply. Methods: A qualitative semi-structured interview was conducted with 12 experts along VSC. interviews were assessed concerning learnings in two-step content analysis. Codes assigned to key concepts variables then linked political, economic, social, technological, legal, environmental (PESTLE) dimensions. complex multi-stakeholder visualized system overview, main actors, roles, constraints, Results: resulted 60 codes, categorized into six PESTLE dimensions three additional (sub)groups (mRNA, Supply resilience, Solutions). largest dimension Economic, 39 including subgroup. Twelve stakeholder groups identified, purchasers, manufacturers, suppliers, developers, regulatory agencies being most significant emergency manufacturing situations. Conclusions: overview demonstrated as network actors unaligned goals rather than linear chain. shows that is characterized by uncertainty due external factors, like unpredictability new emergencies, internal factors demand. lack transparency between stakeholders exacerbates disruption. We conclude infrastructures management practices enable increased collaboration hold greatest potential strengthening VSC’s future pandemics.
