Background Sleep complaints are a major concern for the aging population. Insomnia affects quality of life, and is associated with unfavorable geriatric outcomes. Digital technologies offer promising perspectives to assess support various health conditions, including older adults. Among them, KANOPEE app, smartphone-based virtual autonomous conversational agent, has been validated in general adult population insomnia assessment behavioral interventions. This research primarily aimed acceptability application evaluating The secondary objective identify determinants influencing app. Methods cross-sectional study included department inpatients aged 70 or older, undergoing standardized interview addressing sleep complaints. Acceptability was assessed using E-Scale (AES) ECA Trust Questionnaire (ETQ). Sociodemographic data were collected multivariate linear regression analysis scores. Results Fifty (mean age: 85.8 years, men: 48%), 40% declaring novice level familiarity technology. Physical activity (PA) is essential for healthy aging, but its accurate assessment in older adults remains challenging due to the limitations and biases of traditional clinical assessment. Mobile technologies wearable sensors offer a more ecological, less biased alternative evaluating PA this population. This study aimed optimize digital phenotyping strategies assessing patterns adults, by integrating ecological momentary (EMA) continuous sensor data collection. Over two weeks, 108 community-dwelling provided real-time EMA responses while their was continuously monitored using Garmin Vivo 5 sensors. The combined approach proved feasible, with 67.2% adherence prompts, consistent across time points (morning: 68.1%; evening: 65.4%). predominantly occurred at low (51.4%) moderate (46.2%) intensities, midday peaks. Motivation self-efficacy were significantly associated low-intensity (R = 0.20 0.14 respectively), particularly morning. However, discrepancies between objective step counts self-reported measures, which showed no correlation -0.026, p 0.65), highlight complementary value subjective sources. These findings support EMA, sensors, temporal frameworks enhance assessment, offering precise insights personalized, time-sensitive interventions promote PA.
