The rise of mobile health interventions offers significant potential to improve the well-being aging global population, particularly individuals at an increased risk dementia. To fully leverage this potential, it is crucial evaluate applications across different demographic and socio-economic landscapes. This study investigated relationship between a country's development status quality dementia-focused applications, as well influence developers' medical expertise on app perceived impact. cross-sectional observational design utilized uMARS tool objective subjective dementia-related applications. Objective was assessed engagement, functionality, aesthetics, information domains, while included user recommendations, anticipated usage, A stratified random sampling method selected 17 apps for evaluation, inter-reviewer reliability confirmed (Kendall's W = 0.143, p 0.045). Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, independent sample t-tests, Pearson's correlation coefficients, with statistical significance set < 0.05. Among 51 analyzed, only one developed in low-income country. Additionally, found linear impact dementia background team, Pearson coefficient t 3.708 (p 0.001). Engagement highly correlated (Pearson r 0.955, 0.001), there strong provided by 0.884, adoption must be prioritized assist their caregivers low income countries. Future should focus improving engagement involving experts increase credibility utilization socioeconomic levels healthcare systems.

To investigate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of elderly population regarding their intrinsic capacity, as defined by World Health Organization a marker healthy aging. A cross-sectional study was conducted at Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from July to November 2023. Participants' socio-demographic information KAP scores were collected through self-designed questionnaire. total 507 individuals participated, with 53.25% being male mean age 70.76 ± 7.63 years. The attitude, practice 19.58 8.85, 30.07 4.81, 34.71 7.77, respectively. Pearson's correlation analysis showed significant positive correlations among (all P < 0.001). Multivariate logistic regression indicated that knowledge (OR = 1.127, 0.001), attitude 1.189, current employment status 2.759, 0.009) associated proactive practices. Structural equation modeling demonstrated had direct influence on (β 0.572, 0.001) 0.776, while directly impacted 0.412, reveals lack but have attitudes behaviors about capacity. Enhancing education is vital for aging well-being.
