Household energy consumption plays a critical role in the context of global climate change. Utilizing data from 2018 China Social Survey (CGSS), this study empirically examined impact subjective socioeconomic status (SES) on household green behaviors using probit and ordered models. The mechanism influence was further analyzed through mediated effect approach. results found include following: (1) Although proportion households participating policies is similar to those not participating, deeply multiple very low; (2) SES significantly influences both rate depth participation policies; (3) internet usage understanding serve as mediating mechanisms for promotive SES; (4) showed significant heterogeneity its effects different gender education level groups.
