Background/Objectives: The use of digital media, and especially social has been increasing over recent years. Previous research reported a negative impact media on headaches; however, most these studies are cross-sectional. Therefore, we conducted longitudinal study to explore the relationship between different types usage (watching videos, gaming, media) headache frequency intensity time. Methods: School-aged children from five German schools completed assessments 2017 2018. In total, N = 575 (72.9% female; Mage 13.3, SDage 1.86) adolescents reporting consistent headaches across all were analyzed. Multilevel linear modeling was used assess relationships Results: There only minor associations or frequency. Notably, high linked with worse (t(1989) 4.109, p < 0.001). Conclusions: seems be less harmful than previous might suggest. We believe that increased time spent consuming should not considered risk factor for pain conditions but rather helpful resource management.
