Traditional Chinese medicine plays a unique role and has proven efficacy in preventing treating common chronic diseases. Moxibustion, as type of traditional healthcare therapy, broad mass, social, cultural foundation China. This study analyzes the pathways influencing factors residents' acceptance moxibustion. Data were collected from 808 residents 18 cities or districts using whole cluster stratified random sampling. Take expanded Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology model scale research tool. analyzed by SPSS 25.0 AMOS 24.0, including descriptive statistics, one-way analysis variance, structural equation analysis, multi-group analysis. Structural modeling showed that performance expectancy (β = 0.603, p < 0.001), effort 0.260, social influence 0.373, perceived risk -0.162, 0.001) significantly predicted behavioral intention. Facilitating conditions 0.186, 0.01) intention 0.708, directly affect usage behavior. The multiple-group found experiential disease status played moderating pathways. confirmed constructed resident moxibustion technology can serve suitable framework for predicting to use their behaviors. Increasing expectations expectations, creating positive environment, reducing are key enhancing behavior willingness
