The aim of the present research was to compare needs, pressures, and aspirations among motherless adolescents their normal counterparts. method a causal-comparative type studied variables using both quantitative (needs pressures) qualitative (aspirations) approaches. statistical population included male female adolescents, with without mothers, in city Isfahan. sample consisted 60 (30 30 normal), where were selected match group. tools researcher-made scale for assessing adolescent needs based on Murray's (1943) theory TAT test, semi-structured interview part. Quantitative data pressures analyzed descriptively (mean standard deviation) inferentially (analysis variance), while examined thematic analysis. results showed significant differences between two groups, except (need harm avoidance - pressure risk). Additionally, analysis revealed that categorized into 12 themes 6 adolescents. Based these results, it can be said absence mother leads as well categorization aspirations. Therefore, practical applicable training family members by experienced psychologists counselors seems essential prevent crises families

Objective: The current study aims to examine the effect of cognitive problem-solving skills training on parents' parenting styles and their anger reduction towards children. Method: method this research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest single-group design without follow-up. sample group consisted 69 mothers children aged 4 7 years, selected through convenience sampling. In these workshops, which were held over 9 two-hour sessions across weeks, parents made aware effective ineffective methods dealing children's behaviors, practiced exercises improve response style challenging behaviors To evaluate effectiveness program, two questionnaires used: Parenting Styles questionnaire (Shokoohi Yekta & Parand, 2007) Anger Assessment Zamani, 2007). data analyzed ANOVA t-test using SPSS software. Findings: results showed that participation in workshop had positive participants' performance regarding styles. Such that, program led an increase decrease use other such as advising explanation, punishment scolding (P<0.05). However, analysis findings did not show significant difference terms reducing mothers' aggression (P>0.05). Conclusion: Accordingly, it can be inferred used quality interpersonal communications within family.
