Abstract Assessing the financial health of banks is crucial to ensure stability system. This not only a way safeguard interests customers and shareholders but also prevent inherent risks reliability in banking operations. Thus, evaluating plays role maintaining sustainable development sector. study employed three methods: RAM (Root Assessment Method), PSI (Preference Selection Index), SRP (Simple Ranking Process), assess twenty-eight Vietnam. Capital adequacy rating, asset quality management earnings liquidity sensitivity market risk rating are six criteria used characterize each bank. The evaluation results using these methods were compared with other CAMELS identified good those weak health. notable point that ranking RAM, PSI, SRP, according system quite similar. These findings vital providing valuable information for managers investors, aiding them making informed decisions regarding investment, management, strategies based on empirical data.

This study presents an investigation into the hybridization of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. The Preference Selection Index (PSI) method is used in two distinct ways: first, for its traditional purpose ranking alternatives, and second, to calculate criteria weights. These weights are utilized rank alternatives provided by other MCDM methods, including Faire Un Choix Adéquat (FUCA), Root Assessment Method (RAM), Proximity Indexed Value (PIV), resulting creation three hybrid models: FUCA-PSI, RAM-PSI, PIV-PSI. effectiveness these approaches tested 20 Vietnamese cities based on their digital transformation efforts. results demonstrate that produce a highly correlated ranking, as evidenced Spearman correlation coefficient found among with lowest being 0.8571. Both PSI models identified same top alternative, confirming reliability accuracy rankings.

The global automotive industry is actively transitioning towards the production of BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) to significantly reduce carbon emissions and address climate change. In context a world striving for sustainable development, selecting right BEV has become crucial decision consumers. This study pioneers application RAM (Root Assessment Method) method selection among 10 available options. Each electric vehicle described by 11 criteria, with weights calculated using two subjective weighting methods: ROC RS (Rank Sum) method. Regardless employed consistently identifies same optimal BEV. Furthermore, top-ranked vehicles obtained in conjunction either or methods exhibit high degree similarity those determined other ranking different criteria approaches.

European Journal of Engineering and Technology Research, Journal Year: 2025, Volume and Issue: 10(3), P. 1 - 5

Published: May 10, 2025

Grinding is a prevalent method employed for machining products demanding high precision within the mechanical processing industry. This study focuses on multi-objective optimization of SKD11 steel grinding process surface machine. An experimental procedure, encompassing total nine trials, was designed utilizing Taguchi method. Within each trial, variations were introduced to three cutting parameters: workpiece velocity, feed rate, and depth cut. Concurrently, measurements conducted four objectives, also designated as criteria: roughness (Ra), force component along x-axis (Fx), y-axis (Fy), z-axis (Fz). The ENTROPY deployed computation criteria weights, while RAM utilized resolve problem. results yielded optimal values cut, corresponding 10 m/min, 4 mm/stroke, 0.01 mm, respectively. Associated with these parameter values, objective Ra, Fx, Fy, Fz determined be 0.49 18.4 N, 15.2 28.4

This study proposes a new approach to improve the performance of Ranking Alternatives by Perimeter Similarity (RAPS) method in Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM). RAPS has attracted attention but encounters difficulties when handling zero values decision matrix. suggests using alternative data normalization methods and assesses their suitability combined with various scenarios. The results identified three additional that are appropriate for integration RAPS. These findings provide theoretical basis specific guidelines selecting applying MCDM.

This paper introduces a novel method named Mutriss Enhanced Preference Selection Index (MEPSI) for ranking alternatives. MEPSI is hybrid of MUTRISS (Multiple-Triangles Scenarios) and PSI (Preference Index). In this study, utilized with two distinct functions: one as function alternatives, also known Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), the other weighting criteria. The criteria weights calculated by are used to rank alternatives using method. Thus, each specific problem, combination provides sets data alternatives: from MUTRISS-PSI forms new called MEPSI. Accuracy tests were conducted on various problems. all related different types materials in applications. Case 1 five manufacturing car shock absorbers, specified six 2 nine gears, And 3 four connecting rods, 15 these tests, accuracy was evaluated Spearman's correlation coefficient comparing results against methods. indicated no significant differences rankings when ranked compared Most importantly, top-ranked alternative found consistently matched top identified MCDM study proposes highly accurate repository methods
