Teacher digital professional development: a bibliometric analysis using scopus database from 2001-2023

The integration of digital technologies into education has become essential in the 21st century, necessitating that teachers worldwide improve their competencies. Despite knowing importance competencies, challenges persist, such as centralized planning and rapid technological advancements. This study aims to provide insights recommendations for understanding Teacher Digital Professional Development (TDPD). adopted a bibliometric analysis based on data obtained from Scopus online database December 2024. Based ‘keywords’ search results, finalized 445 valid documents further analysis. Then, author employed VOS viewer visualization purposes. As results revealed, there been an increased growth rate professional development literature since 2001. increasing number works indicates growing awareness its specific requirements. component elements within model according this are situative learning experiences, congruence with teacher beliefs, environment, TPACK Development, enabling institutional policies, interactive collaborative activities, taking consideration characteristics.
