Recent
studies
suggest
that
glymphatic
dysfunction
plays
a
significant
role
in
vascular
cognitive
impairment
(VCI).
Both
hypertension
and
hyperhomocysteinemia
are
independent
risk
factors
for
VCI,
their
combination
is
referred
to
as
H-type
(HHT).
However,
the
impact
of
HHT
on
function
remains
unclear.
This
study
used
recently
popular
indirect
marker,
diffusion
tensor
imaging
along
perivascular
space
(DTI-ALPS)
assess
potential
changes
patients
with
HHT.
We
recruited
58
50
healthy
controls
without
hypertension,
collecting
clinical,
cognitive,
biochemical,
MRI
data.
Behaviorally,
scored
lower
global
tests
compared
controls.
DTI-ALPS
analysis

Understanding
how
sleep
affects
the
glymphatic
system
and
human
brain
networks
is
crucial
for
elucidating
neurophysiological
mechanism
underpinning
aging-related
memory
declines.
We
analyzed
a
multimodal
dataset
collected
through
magnetic
resonance
imaging
(MRI)
polysomnographic
recording
from
72
older
adults.

Mellitus
(T2DM)

Purpose
