ABSTRACT
This
study
provides
a
comprehensive
analysis
of
the
economic
profitability
and
supply
chain
dynamics
mango
production
in
Bangladesh
using
both
primary
secondary
data.
It
reveals
critical
inefficiencies
marketing
system
identifies
pathways
to
improve
quality,
fairness
pricing,
export
competitiveness.
Using
largest
most
recent
dataset
available
from
408
producers,
research
evaluates
key
financial
metrics
such
as
benefit–cost
ratio
(BCR)
net
present
value
(NPV).
The
findings
demonstrate
that
cultivation
is
highly
profitable,
with
BCR
1.77
positive
NPV.
However,
producers
retain
approximately
40%
less
than
final
consumer
price
due
inefficiencies.
Collaboration
among
government,
nongovernmental
organizations,
farmers
essential
ensure
fair
enhance
exports.
By
addressing
these
issues,

ABSTRACT
This
study
explores
industry‐specific
sustainable
supply
chain
(SSC)
practices
and
their
impact
on
firm
value
using
textual
analysis
of
4791
ESG
reports
from
S&P
500
companies.
A
novel
SSC
dictionary,
developed
Word2Vec,
highlights
variations
in
across
eight
dimensions—procurement,
production,
logistics,
warehousing,
distribution,
transportation,
retail,
supplier—across
different
industries.
Regression
shows
that
emphasis
procurement
retail
positively
correlates
with
value,
warehousing
showing
marginal
significance.
The
research
contributes
to
literature
by
introducing
a
quantitative
methodology
linking
corporate
performance,
offering
practical
insights
for
aligning
sustainability
profitability.
