Objective: This study investigates the implementation of waste management practices in environmental conservation parks, focusing on applying circular economy principles to reduce CO₂ emissions and mitigate impacts associated with tourism. Theoretical Framework: Based a theoretical framework that integrates Circular Economy, Zero Waste, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), research provides comprehensive basis for analyzing challenges opportunities sustainable tourist destinations. Method: A case was conducted at Parque Estadual de Vila Velha Ponta Grossa (PR), Brazil, using document analysis, review official reports, application Waste Reduction Model (WARM), which is based (LCA) methodology. Both quantitative qualitative data were systematically collected analyzed compare different scenarios. Results Discussion: The findings indicate adoption zero substantially reduces greenhouse gas emissions, improves operational efficiency management, enhances visitor experience. Research Implications: shows adopting concept can lead significant reduction GHG emissions. scenario proposes local treatment organic waste, such as composting, presents indicates investing on-site technologies be an effective strategy improve need transportation, source Originality/Value: Discussion scenarios from preservation park, WARM Comparison results treatments, implications transportation segregation.
