This in-vitro study explores the cytotoxic properties of linagliptin-metformin combination on cervical cancer cells and examines synergistic interaction between two drugs. An MTT assay was used to explore anti-cancer effects mixture a cell line (HeLa line) across 24 72-hour incubation periods. The concentrations metformin, linagliptin, their ranged from 0.1 1000 µg/ml. while in were kept at fifty percentage individually drug. included an estimated index value (CI) dosage reduction (DRI) ascertain possibility effect combined drugs safety. finding exhibited that all studied drugs- mixture- inhibited growth with superior efficacy over individual Inhibition patterns directly proportional drug's concentration time. revealed mixture's metformin linagliptin synergistic. dose lower drug required than when indicating greater potential mixture. findings MTT, CI, DRI indicate is effective, safer, promising anticancer therapy for cancer. Conclusion: combination. highlights effective concentrations, paving way further research using these treatment.

Background. Colorectal cancer, ranking second place in global cancer mortality, arises from diverse causes. There is growing recognition of the substantial involvement epigenetic modifications histones at DNA level occurrence CRC. Aim. To assess expression p53, HDAC1, and HDAC3 proteins a cohort CRC patients to analyze potential relationship between their stages progression. Materials Methods. The retrospective investigation was carried out on 95 paraffin-embedded tissue samples. assessed immunohistochemically. Results. Notably, p53 protein samples exhibited prominent correlation with both HDAC1 (p < 0.001, rho = 0.522) 0.411), as well advanced TNM staging 0.002, 0.313). Downregulation correlated underexpressed HDAC3. Nevertheless, observed significant negative age patients. Conclusion. data HDACs-p53 co-expression suggest possible mechanism interaction these proteins.
