Background/Objectives: Orthorexia Nervosa (ON) is an emerging behavioral pattern characterized by obsessive focus on healthy eating. Despite its prevalence, ON lacks formal diagnostic criteria in major classification systems like the DSM-5 and ICD-10. This study aims to investigate impact of socio-cultural attitudes towards body image role social media risk among female football players from Poland, Turkey, India. hypothesizes that pressures usage significantly influence developing ON, particularly cultures more exposed Western beauty ideals. Methods: The was conducted May August 2024, employing Computer-Assisted Web Interview method. A total 142 aged 16–36 India participated. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire included demographic information health metrics, Socio-Cultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Questionnaire, Duesseldorf Scale. Statistical analyses ANOVA, Kruskal–Wallis test, chi-square Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: found nearly half participants at or presented with highest prevalence being Indian athletes. Statistically significant relationships observed between factors such as age, dietary exclusions, usage, sources nutritional information. However, no suggesting other may play critical role. Conclusions: While use are contributing psychological individual behaviors appear be equally, if not more, significant. highlights importance targeted educational programs support for young athletes, promoting practices positive perceptions across varying cultural contexts. Additionally, results suggest need further research into specific mechanisms underlying ON.
