Bacteria on the skin can cause infections ranging from mild to quite serious. that are commonly found human pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. The choice for making antibacterial solid soap based active ingredients patchouli oil and citronella is this has inhibitory power in growth of skin, one which aim research determine how large inhibition zone produced by formulation characteristics physical quality tests preparation combining with leaf so it safe use. method used a pure experimental method. Data collection was carried out 4 weeks according testing time then analyzed using Graphad application. results test 2 concentrations, namely 50% 100%, each had different average results, at F2 21 mm very strong category, 100% 19.5 F3 we get an 16 category 18.6 category. In have been out, concluded be made into antiseptic inhibit aureus bacteria. met standard requirements soap.
