Background: The COVID-19 lockdown of Sudanese universities in March 2020 affected education at all colleges, notably medical students. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate final-year students’ perceptions and satisfaction with using mobile phones Telegram Ibn Sina University. Fortunately, these students were familiar as technological teaching learning tools some lecturers before the spread COVID-19. Methods: This evaluation-based design was conducted from June 2020. A diagnostic test a questionnaire used collect data. consisted five multiple choice questions (MCQs) on Control Infection Measures. three sections: (i) demographic characteristics students; (ii) experience; (iii) design. population 135 targeted convenience sample 40 their final fifth year voluntarily participated study. data analyzed SPSS, while by comparing pass rates per item. Results: findings revealed that 94% learned about what infections are, where they come from, how prevent them; 66% standard precautions; 56% understood break chain infection; 53% succeeded recognizing diseases are transmitted infection, thus, aware epidemic process an infectious disease. Students enhanced knowledge personal hygiene built skills, experiences, practices for reducing infection. showed positive perceptions, strong satisfaction, experiences percentage score ranging 67.5% 95% indicating “agree” “strongly agree,” respectively. Moreover, 75% able get advice instructors whenever needed had opportunity study, gain knowledge, interact peers successfully. Additionally, 82.5% preferred asynchronous teaching. Conclusion: Mobile App have been accepted well indicated results present may be more academic activities. It is recommended can broadly adopted due potential during research.
