This study examined the effectiveness of tai chi and qigong on weight loss by summarizing results several studies that compared these Chinese exercises. Some found were significantly more effective in reduction than traditional One specifically chi, ba duan jin, yijinjing, Shaolin neigong, liu zi jue, other exercises, revealing certain exercises better suited for specific outcomes. Tai was most at improving CD4+ NK cell levels, while jin excelled enhancing CD3+ CD8+ levels. Additionally, Mawangdui Dao Yin Da Wu shown to reduce triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), also increasing high-density (HDL-C) some extent.
