Geo-tourism, an emerging field that focuses on the natural and cultural heritage of a region, offers unique opportunity to promote sustainable tourism foster local economic development. This study aims assess geo-tourism potential Danube region in Serbia, diverse culturally rich Western Balkan, Southeastern Europe, using comprehensive methodology incorporates geo-statistical machine learning tools. A dataset comprising various geographical, factors was collected from reliable sources, including, protected areas, statistics, inventories satellite imagery. Geo-statistical analyses were performed identify spatial patterns relationships among variables. Techniques such as autocorrelation, hotspot analysis, interpolation methods employed reveal concentrations resources, hotspots, clusters, areas need conservation. The results this provided valuable insights into region. analysis revealed several hotspots. Machine models accurately predicted demand based variables accessibility, heritage, landscapes. These findings can guide policymakers that, power tools, Serbia unlock its full potential.
