This study was aimed to collect Pleurotus eryngii (DC.) Quél. edible/medicinal mushroom from Çanakkale/Kumkale and evaluate the antiproliferative effects of alcoholic extracts on breast colon cancer cell lines. For this purpose, Soxhlet method prepared methanol ethanol:H2O (70:30) by gradually increasing solvent polarities. Then, (MDA-MB-231, BT-549, BT-20, MCF-7) (HT-29) lines were treated with in concentrations (0.05-0.5 mg/mL) for 48 h. In conclusion, aqueous ethanol exhibited significant lines, according MTT assay. The viability triple-negative (TNBC) MDA-MB-231 line highly decreased extract at a very low concentration (0.1 mg/mL). Furthermore, 0.3 mg/mL reduced percentage HT-29 line. Aqueous showed activity 0.25 h applications. addition, some bioactive components such as 4-hydroxy flavone, chrysin, tannic acid have been determined High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis. As result, may increase interest studies anti-cancer activities mechanisms P. mushroom.
