Abstract Coal mining in ecologically fragile areas results the failure of aquiclude layers and loss surface water bodies. Herein, research was conducted on microbial solidification cracked soils corresponding response ecological table. A simulation mining-induced performed via solidification. The mechanical hydrological properties soil samples repaired with different filling materials were compared unconfined compressive strength falling head permeability tests. Hydraulic-electric similarity modeling techniques employed to evaluate effectiveness layers. After low-temperature acclimation, Bacillus megaterium adapted geological environment study area, exhibiting a high viable cell density. When filled 1:1 ratio aeolian sand clay particles, microbially remediated demonstrated optimal hydraulic properties. numerical simulations revealed that table at coalface remained within reasonable range following solidification, suggesting achieved water-preserving coal mining.
