The objective of this article is to develop an instrument that can be used assess the ability solve creative problems (CPS) and critical thinking (CT) in context sound waves. This work a component our research on developing teaching material includes assessment as final product. evaluate students' problem-solving abilities both before after implementing recently developed mobile learning resources. To construct instrument, we adhere Facione Osborn-Parness frameworks for CTs CPSs. Validity testing reliability comprise development process. We utilize Cronbach's Alpha content validity index validity. According results, four six items CT were determined valid. Conversely, empirical validation test skills demonstrated results valid suitable use. also indicated tools accurately evaluated reasoning abilities.
