Abstract Indonesia has plant-based traditional medicine (herbal) that is hereditary and believed to be used for disease therapy prevention. The well-known of this jamu, which a long history making, now, some have limitedly explored their benefits on health scientifically. Traditional herbal drinks are part jamu usually consumed as beverages leisure refreshment; in addition, they many benefits. efficacy these still poorly This review explores the diversity, preparation methods, most popular Indonesian drinks, mainly Java Island, including kunyit asam, beras kencur, sinom, wedang uwuh, jahe, pokak . Combining literature with field observations, it highlights key bioactive compounds such curcumin, gingerol, brazilin, known antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial properties. study uniquely integrates knowledge insights into modern processing techniques, ultra-high temperature by small-scale enterprises, examines cultural historical significance. By addressing limited scientific exploration drinks’ benefits, paper bridges gap between practices validation, contributing global understanding functional beverages. Modern adaptations, enabled wider distribution commercialization drinks. However, challenges maintaining compound integrity scaling production while preserving authenticity remain critical.

Diabetes mellitus frequently coexists with infection, leading to an immunological response characterised by elevation in leukocyte levels. This research aimed assess the immunomodulatory activity of extract derived from bark Cinnamomum burmanni on differentiation leukocytes a diabetes model using mice (Mus musculus). Prior administration therapy, glucose levels all were assessed. Subsequently, groups K (+), P1, P2, and P3 administered STZ at 0.2 ml per individual. The blood (post-STZ glucose) checked once more seventh day. In event rise over (>200 mg/dL), subjects belonging burmanii under prescribed dosage. intervention was for 14 days, assessed final day experimentation.
