Impact of Differentiated Instruction on English Language Learners’ Motivation Among Senior High School Students at Pandami National High School DOI

This study examined the significant differences in extent to which differentiated instruction impacts motivation of English language learners at Pandami National High School. Utilizing a descriptive-correlational research design, purposively sampled 100 students and analyzed collected data through frequency distribution, percentage scores, weighted mean, standard deviation, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation test. Key findings revealed following: 1) The majority respondents were female, predominantly aged 17–19, with most enrolled Grade 12. Additionally, parents had attained an elementary-level education earned monthly income ₱5,000 or below. 2) On average, selected reported high perceived impact on their learning English. 4) Significant observed when categorized by age, parental educational attainment, income. However, no found grouped gender grade level. 5) A strong positive was identified between interest self-motivation, as well goal setting. These support constructivist theory, wherein teachers employ pedagogical strategies such guide constructing knowledge exploration discussion, thereby accommodating diverse needs. underscores that serves essential approach, fostering supportive adaptive classroom environment. This study assessed the Nurses knowledge and practices in neonatal sepsis prevention for Fiscal Year 2025. With 47 samples taken through non-probability sampling method via purposive sampling, with use of weighted mean, standard deviation, t-test independent samples, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s r, this reveals following findings:1) Of respondents, mostly are female, married within age range 30-39 years old; 2) On average, nurses’ level practice is very knowledgeable; 3) Generally, variables age, gender, marital status do not significantly mediate ; 4) group respondents who rated as Strongly Agree or knowledgeable terms hygiene probably same sterilization disinfection, antibiotic prophylaxis, recognizing risks signs symptoms respectively; 5) seems to support Health Belief Model (HBM) theory reasoned action. This study assessed the effect of instructional medium on mathematics achievement among Grade 11 students at Sulu State College. A quasi-experimental research design was applied, involving a purposive sample 30 equally divided into control and experimental groups. The group received instruction solely in English, while taught using English supplemented with local Sinug dialect. Both groups were given pre- post-tests to measure performance. Pre-test results showed no significant difference between two groups, confirming similar baseline achievement. However, post-test findings revealed that combined English–Sinug approach achieved higher scores, reaching “Very Satisfactory” level, contrast “Satisfactory” performance group. Statistical analysis t-test confirmed significance this difference. These point educational value integrating dialects formal support comprehension enhance student outcomes mathematics.

This study examined the connection between social media usage and health-seeking behaviors of a selected group young mothers residing in Jolo. It considered their socio-demographic profiles, such as age, educational attainment, marital status, occupation, barangay residence. Utilizing descriptive research design, investigation gathered data on patterns activity how these may influence various health-related actions among respondents. The approach centered observation collection, without aiming to determine direct causation. A total 120 respondents were purposively chosen based availability consent participate, with 15 individuals drawn from each following barangays included Alat, Asturias, Bus-Bus, Chinese Pier, San Raymundo, Takut-Takut, Tulay, Walled City. Language learning strategies are significant predictors of academic performance, especially in English, among senior high school students technical-vocational institutions. This study examined the extent to which six categories language strategies—memory, cognitive, compensation, metacognitive, affective, and social—contribute students’ achievement English at Maimbung Technical Vocational High School. Using a descriptive-correlational design survey data from 100 randomly selected students, findings revealed moderate positive correlation between strategic use GPA, with social showing strongest associations. These results affirm that purposeful varied strategy enhances both comprehension reinforcing value integrating strategy-based instruction into curriculum.
