Objective: This study aims to analyze the Green Area Index (GAI), Vegetation Cover (VCI), and Percentage (VCP) in urban areas of 20 cities microregion Anápolis, Goiás, focusing on green infrastructure its implications for planning. Theoretical Framework: The research is based importance as an essential tool enhancing ecosystem variability, reducing environmental pollution, controlling heat islands, especially expanding areas. Method: was conducted two stages: first, images from WPM/CBERS-4A Google Earth Pro satellites were analyzed quantify GAI; second stage, Normalized Difference (NDVI) used calculate area with vegetation cover. Results Discussion: city Anápolis had largest area, while municipalities Taquaral, Damolândia, São Francisco de Goiás highest GAI VCI. recorded VCP (35.06%), followed by Damolândia (29,27%) Araçu (28.29%). Research Implications: highlighted need public afforestation policies improve socio-environmental conditions cities. Originality/Value: contributes literature providing robust data distribution medium-sized sustainable
