Here we investigated whether cold chain workers' insomnia, work-related stress, and viral anxiety contributed to their depression. Furthermore, the role of in mediating association between stress depressive symptoms.All 200 invited workers voluntarily responded an online survey. All were working at a market Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China, responsible for testing nucleic acids imported foods disinfecting outer packaging government request. We collected demographic variables rated symptoms using Stress Anxiety Viral Epidemics-6 Items (SAVE-6), Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), Perceived Scale (PSS), Maslach Burnout Inventory - General Survey (MBI-GS).Cold depression was significantly correlated with higher SAVE-6 (r = 0.450, P < 0.01), ISI 0.603, MBI-GS 0.481, PSS 0.390, 0.01) scores. score 0.462, 0.305, 0.268, Linear regression revealed that predicted by (β 0.183, 0.003), 0.409, 0.001), 0.236, 0.002, adjusted R² 0.440, F 40.04, 0.001) Mediation analysis showed burnout directly influenced depression, while or insomnia severity mediated influence on depression.The study direct cause relationship
