Objective: This study examined the prevalence, associated factors, and psychiatric comorbidities of adult ADHD during COVID-19 pandemic by analyzing nationally representative data. Methods: Among 5,511 respondents 2021 National Mental Health Survey, South Korea, 2,764 (18–49 years) were selected. The Korean versions Adult Self-Report Scale, Composite International Diagnostic Interview, Structured Clinical Interview for Internet Gaming Disorder used as diagnostic assessments. Results: 6-month prevalence positive screens was 3.1%. In individuals aged 18 to 29 years exhibiting symptoms, high rates alcohol use, depression, gaming disorders observed in last 12 months. Adults who screened reported significantly lower life satisfaction resilience, higher loneliness social isolation (vs. non-ADHD group). Conclusion: symptoms influenced mental well-being, highlighting need an appropriate treatment/prevention system, particularly years.

Abstract Background This study evaluated the prevalence of various mental disorders and their influence on mortality outcomes in individuals with cancer. The treatment rate for alcohol use disorder (AUD) in Korea is significantly lower than its prevalence rate. Because untreated AUD can have harmful consequences, it important to identify the factors that contribute individuals with seeking mental health services. We collected nationally representative data from National Mental Health Survey of 2021 and analyzed responses 643 AUD, which 76.8% were male. Background Exposure to potentially traumatic events (PTE) is associated with a range of negative mental health outcomes, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD (cPTSD). Although exposure PTEs highly prevalent, their impact on pervasive, research mostly limited diagnosed populations or specific trauma cohorts in the post-pandemic era. Methods We conducted an online survey 1,000 Seoul residents from October 6-12, 2023, using stratified sampling method. Participants were asked about experiences, experiences services. Results Most participants (98.8%) reported that they had experienced at least one PTE. The average number was 9.19 (SD=7.908). Abstract Background Uric acid has antioxidant properties, and several studies have suggested its neuroprotective effects. Despite reports of increased oxidative damage decreased antioxidants in anxiety disorders, findings remain inconclusive. This study investigated the association between serum uric levels symptoms, stratified by sex, using nationwide data from South Korea. Methods Data were derived Korea National Health Nutrition Examination Survey, which included 2,228 males 2,805 females. Presence symptoms was defined as a Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale (GAD-7) score ≥ 10. Study participants categorized into three groups based on levels: 1 (lowest) to 3 (highest). Multivariable logistic regression analyzed sex. Results Compared reference group 2, females had (odds ratio (OR) 2.28, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.48–3.49). When GAD-7 5, (OR 1.68, CI 1.30–2.16) 1.35, 1.04–1.74) both showed more than with U-shaped relationship symptoms. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of anxiety symptoms among hospital determine their association with psychological job-related factors.Methods Data on demographics, characteristics, burnout, Type A behavior patterns, self-esteem, happiness were collected from 515 working at a university in Korea.
