Gamified online quizzes have gained popularity for their potential in enhancing student learning motivations, creating engaging lessons, and improving outcomes. Yet, its application effectiveness support of vocabulary only been explored synchronous setting. This study, hence, extended the exploration by examining implementation gamified an asynchronous mode analyzing impacts on students’ outcomes class. Abstract This study investigated the impact of techno-competence workshops on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ language achievement, technostress, academic enjoyment, and autonomy in large university Iran. A concurrent mixed-methods approach was employed, with qualitative data collected through structured interviews quantitative gathered using teacher-made test validated known-group procedure. Ninety-six upper-intermediate EFL learners were randomly assigned to an Experimental Group (EG) Control (CG). Results revealed significant decrease increase heightened among participants attending workshops. The analysis demonstrated substantial improvement achievement for EG compared CG. Findings contribute understanding multifaceted impacts learning outcomes offer practical insights educators, curriculum developers, policymakers fostering effective education technologically enriched environments.
