This study explores the influence of different parenting styles democratic, authoritarian, and permissive on intensity gadget use its negative impacts children aged 1-8 years in Bima City. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, research design included literature review, hypothesis formulation, data collection via online questionnaires, analysis. Quantitative were analyzed using regression techniques, qualitative provided contextual depth. The findings reveal significant differences associated outcomes, including reduced social skills hearing problems, depending style. Democratic authoritarian linked to higher use, while exhibited wide range patterns, from high usage complete abstention. underscores importance effective parental monitoring engagement manage children's screen time mitigate adverse effects. Limitations include localized sample reliance self-reported data, suggesting need for further diverse populations. These have important implications strategies public health policies, emphasizing targeted interventions educate parents managing children’s digital habits promoting healthy development. Future should investigate these relationships develop comprehensive support parents.
