This study aimed to describe students’ driving factors of eating behavior, namely eating-styles and palatable-eating-motives, determine clusters based on both. Conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, this cross-sectional was carried out in response intervention program, nusantara movement reduce obesity rate (gerakan tekan angka obesitas (GENTAS)), launched by Indonesian government rate. Involving general population, 135 undergraduate students at a university Bandung, Indonesia (the average age 20.5 years, 71.9% them were female) selected using multi-stage-cluster-sampling. Data collected through online questionnaires analyzed SPSS 22.00 for Mac. Results indicated that participants’ behavior generally more characterized uncontrolled-eating-style, palatable foods driven motive reward-enhancement. obtained three clusters, including cluster composed emotional-eating-style coping-motives, involving cognitive-restraint-eating-styles, uncontrolled-eating-style all palatable-eating-motives. Findings about brought possibilities develop new approach GENTAS’ implementation among students, focusing tailored individual participant, utilizing available channels institution. An or hybrid an introduced choice relevant pandemic non-COVID period.

Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic impacted food systems, health systems and the environment globally, with potentially greater negative effects in many lower-middle income countries (LMICs) including Indonesia. purpose of this qualitative study was to investigate potential impacts on diets, marine Indonesia, based perspectives a multidisciplinary group informants. Methods: We conducted remote in-depth interviews 27 key informants from regions who are either healthcare providers, nutrition researchers or environmental researchers. Over the past two years, world has faced pandemic, COVID-19, and various changes. Several regulations recommendations from Ministry of Health Indonesia have contributed to behavioral changes among Indonesian residents, especially in food consumption patterns. The change patterns can be a positive that formed due COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed examine whether application Belief Model (HBM)-based nutrition education programme effectively used changing beliefs adults with or without history supplement nutrient intake. was cross-sectional involving 140 adults. placed 70 with/without into intervention group. group participated programme. respondents were asked fill out questionnaire. data analyzed by independent paired t-tests Chi-square test. result this showed no association between perceived susceptibility, severity, benefit, barrier, self-efficacy, intake respondents. However, most low their scores perceivedness. Thus, it is still important for government increase education, young aged below 25 years old.
