Social media, an Internet-based technology, enables students to receive and share information, leading upsurge in English learning. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube are some of the most popular social networking apps for students. Thus, present research was conducted expose non-EFL/ESL university students' preferences learning English. A mixed-method design used process research, open-ended questionnaire (Quanti) semi-structured interview (Quali) were employed. Using purposive sampling, 77 participated voluntarily, data analyzed using descriptive statistics thematic analysis. The finding revealed that preferred among other platforms, TikTok second favourable, followed by Facebook least. determined according enjoyment, system quality, information interactivity, perceived usefulness satisfaction with applications. is beneficial as evidence upcoming study comparing effectiveness these media platforms future education, especially features exploring users' belief utilizing devices.
