This article aims to explore and improve the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) by implementing interdisciplinary collaboration strategies. The research method involved in-depth interviews with IRE lecturers ULM, gaining insights into cross-disciplinary professionalism. surprising results revealed that cooperation is essential in enriching teaching methods beyond conventional boundaries. Integrating disciplines such as psychology, technology, pedagogy allows for adjustments students' diverse learning styles, shifting paradigm be more holistic, adaptive, responsive current educational dynamics. In addition confirming need continuous professional development educators, this study also identified several challenges must overcome strengthen including financial limitations, insufficient social recognition, rapid technological development. Recommendations from include holistic technology-based continuing training programs advocacy increase recognition appreciation critical role educators facing growing complexities demands modern education.
