Introduction: The present study employs bioinformatics tools to identify shared upregulated genes between chemical burns and gastric cancer. Methods: GEO retrieved gene sets for this investigation. GSEs with P -value <0.05 LOG fold change (FC) >1 were valid upregulated. Gastric cancer burn common elevated found using Venn diagram online tools. In the second stage, “string” visualized network, non-coding RNAs deleted, “interaction” was examined choose important nodes. Next, they explored String gene-interaction network genes. To determine most interacting genes, Gephi (V 0.9.7) used “betweenness centrality” > “0” evaluate twenty-gene network. TISIDB drug banks provide gene-related medications. Results: study, two including ALOX5AP SERPINB2, obtained, highest centrality among Additionally, current presented five drugs, Urokinase, Tenecteplase, DG031, AM103, Fiboflapon, which can have predicted effects on following burns. Conclusion: According in-silicon analyses, SERPINB2 are linked genetic keys Considering that is an environmental factor leads upregulation of thus, be related incidence

Abstract The primary objective of this systematic review and meta‐analysis was to ascertain the prevalence anxiety identify associated risk factors among individuals who have suffered burn injuries. We conducted a thorough search across various international electronic databases, including Scopus, PubMed Web Science, as well Persian databases like Iranmedex scientific information database (SID). Our encompassed period from earliest available records up 8 August 2023. employed keywords derived Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) such “Prevalence”, “Anxiety” “Burns”. In total, 2586 patients participated in 13 cross‐sectional studies. mean age participants 32.88 (SD = 2.51). compilation studies, documented overall occurrence rate stood at 16.1% (95% CI: 10.0% 24.7%; I 2 93.138%; p < 0.001). outcomes meta‐regression analysis, which examined association between year publication, did not uncover any significant correlation ( 0.442). Furthermore, there notable gender, TBSA affected, educational level types Therefore, healthcare providers need recognize substantial fundamental consideration. This recognition should prompt proactive approach toward early detection timely intervention. Developing personalized intervention strategies tailored each patient's unique needs is paramount. These may encompass range therapeutic options counselling, psychotherapy or consultations with mental health specialists.

Burn injury patients often experience a range of psychological challenges, such as pain, anxiety, and depression. In this context, nurses have crucial responsibility in caring for clients with mood disorders. the current study, authors aim to provide comprehensive perspective on nursing role during post-burn disorders among burn by reviewing previous evidence literature. A literature search was conducted PubMed Scopus databases using following key terms "burns", "severe burns", "mood disorders", "nursing". The desire focused papers related burns, disorders, nursing. 20 studies were selected review. Nurses play managing conditions like depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety. Their responsibilities include early detection, holistic assessment, intervention addressing patients' emotional well-being. Educating families, providing support, creating therapeutic environment are critical aspects care. work demystify conditions, encourage mental health engagement, implement personalized care plans. By reducing stress, promoting well-being, facilitating access services, contribute significantly survivors' recovery quality life. Abstract Background Amputation resulting from diabetes remains a significant public health challenge in Ghana, often leading to increased morbidity and mortality. Nurses serve as frontline healthcare providers managing these patients. Aim This qualitative study explores nurses' experiences challenges diabetic amputations at the Sunyani Teaching Hospital Ghana. Methods Using phenomenological approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 13 nurses working surgical units of (STH) between April 2024 July 2024. Results The identified three key themes regarding nurses’ amputations: emotional psychological challenges, physical resource constraints, recommendations for improvement. Findings indicate that face burdens, limitations, difficulties patient–nurse relationships, developing coping mechanisms while caring patients diabetes-related amputations. Conclusion findings provide valuable insights into faced by suggest strategies improving care delivery outcomes individuals Recommendation To enhance patient outcomes, recommend improved training, better allocation, interdisciplinary collaboration. Additionally, there is need structured mental support programs emotionally taxing situations. Emphasis also placed on incorporating specialized wound training national nursing curriculum.

Physiotherapy prevents contractures and aids mobility in pediatric burn patients. Objective: To evaluate the potential benefits of implementing early orthotic interventions physiotherapy programs patients with injuries. Methods: This quasi experimental study was conducted on 27 children at Department Physical Medicine Rehabilitation (PM R), The Children Hospital University Child Health Sciences, Lahore between August 2022 2023. sample size included Convenient sampling technique used to collect data. under age 16 years were study. ROM (measured via a goniometer), muscle tone (assessed using Ashworth scale), strength (evaluated Oxford scale MMT) systematically assessed. Related pre-treatment questionnaire filled first, they undergoing rehabilitation protocol (anti-contracture positioning, ROM, casting, splinting, stretching) followed by verbal filling after 3months. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test measure difference before intervention. Results: Muscle majority tested which possible against gravity now some resistance. Result suggest that activities like carrying an object other ADLs severe difficult improved. limited intervention partially limited. Conclusions: In conclusion, amalgamation orthosis represented pivotal cornerstone comprehensive care paradigm for patients, yielding myriad positive effects significantly enhance their journey.

Introduction: Burn injuries lead to dysregulation of immune molecules, impacting cellular and humoral pathways. This study aims determine the prediction molecules activity during burn wound healing among elderly patients. Methods: The current utilized Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database extract proper gene set. Also, literature review was conducted in present find signatures. used “enrich r” website identify biological functions extracted genes. critical modules related mortality were identified using weighted co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) R package. Results: appreciated GSE extracted. According data, most upregulated signatures Natural Killer (NK) Cells, downregulated associated with M1 macrophages. results WGCNA have shown that ( P <107 score 0.17) investigated, 100 first genes Additionally, enrich r has demonstrated pathways, including; process, including regulation histamine secreted from mast cell <0.05), T helper 17 differentiation autophagy <0.05) obtained. Finally, by analysis, “B3GNT5” obtained (degree>ten “betweenness centrality”>30 considered). Conclusion: significant changes macrophage NK expression patterns post-burn injury, linking them potential improvements clinical outcomes healing. B3GNT5, mortality, highlighted as a key marker for prognostic evaluation.
